This Hill Country custom home was always designed to be exceptional, but the path to completion was anything but smooth. After starting with two different contractors who unfortunately didn’t deliver on quality or consistency, the homeowners reached out to River City Construction & Design to bring the project back to life.
We stepped into a partially finished build with significant structural and finish-level issues. From misaligned framing and improperly installed systems to low-grade materials and code violations, the home needed more than finishing touches, it needed expert intervention.
Our team got to work undoing the mistakes and rebuilding with intention. The finished home now includes a chef’s kitchen with natural stone countertops, custom wood cabinetry, a butler’s pantry, hardwood floors, a casita, an elevator, and bathrooms that rival luxury spas, including a pet wash and his-and-hers vanities, showers, and closets. Every detail was elevated, corrected, and beautifully completed.

We systematically corrected tens of thousands of dollars in mistakes, reframing critical structures, replacing underperforming systems, and upgrading finishes throughout. But more than that, we rebuilt trust in the process.
From the intricate tile work and luxury stone surfaces to the hardwood floors, elevator installation, and custom carpentry, every inch of this home was carefully reconsidered and expertly executed.
